Business Development Manager

West London (2-3 Days Per Week)
£40,000 - £60,000 Basic Salary with £80,000 - £100,000 OTE Year 1

Chapman Tate Associates are proud to be working with a highly reputable and growing IT reseller/VAR, seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to join their sales team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proven new business salesperson to join a well-established technology solutions provider and play a key role in driving growth across their customer base. If you're motivated by winning new logos, building your own pipeline, and being rewarded for your success, this could be the ideal next step in your career.


The Opportunity

Our client is looking for a driven and commercially focused Business Development Manager who thrives in a new business environment. You'll be responsible for identifying opportunities, engaging prospective customers, and developing long-term relationships whilst managing the full sales cycle from initial prospecting through to close.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities
  • Generate and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
  • Prospect through outbound activity, networking, referrals, and LinkedIn
  • Engage with key decision-makers across a range of organizations
  • Conduct discovery meetings and understand customer requirements
  • Present technology solutions and services that address business challenges
  • Develop proposals and negotiate commercial agreements
  • Collaborate with internal technical and delivery teams
  • Achieve and exceed gross profit and revenue objectives

About You

  • Experience within an IT reseller, VAR, MSP, or technology solutions environment
  • Proven success in a new business sales role
  • Strong prospecting, networking, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage a full sales cycle independently
  • Results-driven with a highly motivated and proactive mindset
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ambitious and driven by earning potential and career progression

Package & Benefits

  • £40,000 - £60,000 basic salary
