Digital Learning Technologist

Salary: £27,851 to £30,257
Location: Epsom, Surrey

Overview

Our client, a further education provider, is seeking a Digital Learning Technologist to help curriculum teams make effective use of digital learning platforms and online teaching tools.

The role combines educational technology, staff training, and digital learning support. You will work with teaching teams to develop online learning environments, improve digital pedagogy, and create practical guidance and training for staff.

Responsibilities

  • Support curriculum teams in using digital learning platforms effectively.
  • Help teams design and structure Google Classroom environments.
  • Support the development of effective online pedagogical approaches.
  • Develop guidance and training materials for staff.
  • Facilitate staff development sessions on digital learning tools and approaches.
  • Provide practical technology support to students, staff, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Experience working in further or higher education, training, or learning and development.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft applications and Google Workspace.
  • Strong computing and technology application skills.
  • Confidence working across a variety of digital platforms.
  • Strong administrative and IT skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to use initiative and solve problems creatively.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.

The role is employed through a wholly owned subsidiary of our client and is subject to different terms and conditions.

The vacancy may close before 13 September 2026, and interviews may take place during the advertising period. For early applications, interviews were expected to take place on 27 August 2026.
