About the Role
We have a brilliant FTC opportunity within a well-known global Financial Services organisation for an experienced Technical Delivery Lead who will be accountable for the successful delivery of technology solutions from initiation through to production deployment and operational transition.
Unlike a traditional Technology Project Manager, the TDL will combine strong delivery leadership experience with deep technical understanding, enabling effective collaboration with software architects, software engineers, analysts, quality engineers, and platform teams. The role is expected to understand technology sufficiently to challenge assumptions, identify delivery risks, facilitate informed decision-making, and drive successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the end-to-end delivery lifecycle for one or more technology initiatives.
- Establish delivery plans, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage dependency and risk landscapes, provide clear stakeholder communication, and ensure solutions progress through governance, testing, release, and operational readiness activities successfully.
Compensation and Benefits
- This is a 12 month FTC - Technical Delivery Lead position and will pay an annual salary between £70,000 - £90,000 (pro-rata) depending on experience.
- In addition, the Company offers a rewarding annual bonus scheme, excellent Company pension, full private health care (family members can be added at a small additional cost), educational budget and various other regional / personal benefits.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
