Job Title: Senior Software Developer
Type: Full Time, Permanent
Location: Fully Remote – UK
Ref. No: 1044
Salary: up to £60,000 plus benefits
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week

We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Software Developer to join a technical team supporting complex software solutions within the logistics and warehouse automation sector.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and support commercial software using Java and Oracle.
- Provide 2nd Level Support and troubleshoot complex customer issues.
- Lead technical investigations and root cause analysis.
- Manage fixes, patches and software releases.
- Mentor and support junior developers.
- Work closely with Project Managers and Service Account Managers.
- Create technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
- Support continuous improvement and system stability.

What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 5 years’ commercial software development experience.
- Strong experience with Java or another object-oriented language.
- Experience with Oracle/SQL and relational databases.
- Knowledge of Hibernate, JUnit, JMS and XML.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience mentoring or leading developers.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Logistics/warehouse automation experience is desirable.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required.
