About the Role
BPI is seeking an IT Director – Europe to lead and shape its European information technology operation. This is a broad, hands-on leadership role spanning information technology operations, user experience, technology integration, security, compliance, and mergers and acquisitions.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day information technology operations across BPI's European offices, ensuring a responsive, high-quality service for employees and senior leaders.
- Provide hands-on technical support and escalation across devices, applications, access, networking, and connectivity.
- Own the European technology environment, including Mac devices, Google Workspace, software applications, user access, and technology assets.
- Manage and develop relationships with BPI's managed service provider and key technology vendors, ensuring effective service and escalation.
- Oversee new employee onboarding, employee departures, device deployment, asset management, software updates, and endpoint security.
- Support conference rooms, Zoom, and audio-visual technology where required.
- Work closely with the Global Senior Director of Information Technology in New York to implement global standards, improve the European environment, and contribute to wider information technology strategy.
- Lead or support technology integration for acquisitions, assessing environments and bringing new businesses, users, devices, applications, and processes into BPI's operating model.
- Take regional responsibility for information technology controls supporting Service Organisation Control 2 Type 2 and International Organisation for Standardisation 27001 compliance, including access controls, audit evidence, security practices, and remediation.
- Build strong relationships across different European countries, recognising that Europe requires both consistency and cultural awareness.
- Identify opportunities to automate, standardise, and continually improve the way information technology is delivered across the region.

Qualifications
The successful candidate will combine technical credibility, leadership, and excellent people skills.
Required Skills
- Significant experience leading information technology operations, service delivery, or workplace technology in an international, multi-site organisation.
- Hands-on experience administering Google Workspace in a Mac-dominant environment.
- Strong Mac endpoint management experience, ideally including Jamf Pro.
- Experience with software applications, identity and access management, endpoint security, and networking fundamentals.
- Experience managing a managed service provider or outsourced information technology support function.
- Experience supporting senior executives and demanding users in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with Service Organisation Control 2 Type 2 and/or International Organisation for Standardisation 27001 requirements.
- Experience working across multiple countries and cultures.
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions, acquisitions, or technology integration is highly valuable.
- Strong communication, organisation, and project management skills.
- The ability to move comfortably between hands-on troubleshooting and senior-level stakeholder management.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions, acquisitions, or technology integration is highly valuable.
- Experience using and evaluating artificial intelligence tools to improve information technology support, automation, productivity, and ways of working, with an interest in the continued development of artificial intelligence within the workplace.
