Information Technology Director – UK & Europe
Permanent | £120,000 + bonus | West Sussex | 3 days per week in office
FTSE 250 Manufacturing Group
We’re working with a leading FTSE 250 manufacturing business with operations across the UK, Europe and internationally, looking to appoint a IT Director – UK & Europe as it continues to strengthen and modernise its technology capability.
This is a senior regional IT leadership role spanning the UK, Central Europe and the Nordics, working closely with business leaders across a decentralised group of businesses.
The mandate
You’ll take ownership of the regional technology agenda, balancing strategic transformation with hands-on delivery across a diverse and acquisitive organisation.
The focus will include:
- Leading IT strategy and technology transformation across multiple business units and geographies
- Driving ERP transformation, cloud adoption, application optimisation and technology standardisation
- Building strong relationships with MDs and senior stakeholders, acting as a trusted technology partner to the business
- Leading distributed IT teams and third-party technology partners across the region
- Supporting M&A activity and the integration of acquired businesses into the Group technology environment

What we’re looking for
To be considered, you’ll have:
- Senior IT leadership experience across a multi-site, multi-entity organisation, ideally within manufacturing, logistics, retail, pharmaceutical or another operationally complex environment
- Strong ERP experience, with a track record of leading or governing ERP transformation and complex application environments
- Experience operating across multiple countries or business units, ideally within a federated or decentralised operating model
- A hands-on, commercially minded leadership style, comfortable working with senior business stakeholders while also getting into the detail of technology delivery
- Experience managing distributed teams, third-party technology providers and M&A integration would be highly relevant.

This role would suit an experienced Head of IT / IT Director who enjoys operating close to the business and has the breadth to combine strategic leadership with practical execution.
Location: West Sussex, 3 days per week in the office required, with occasional travel across the UK & Europe.
Salary: £120,000 + bonus and benefits.
