IT Engineer – Network, Systems & Automation
We’re working with a growing organisation looking for an experienced IT Engineer to take ownership of its network, systems, cloud and endpoint infrastructure.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a strong networking background who is equally comfortable working across Windows and Linux environments, Microsoft 365 and cloud technologies. The role also has a strong focus on automation and scripting, making it an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys improving processes and finding more efficient ways of working.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for supporting, maintaining and developing a modern IT infrastructure across network, systems, cloud and workplace technologies.
You’ll work across both day-to-day operations and longer-term infrastructure improvements, helping to maintain a secure, reliable and well-optimised environment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
