IT Engineer | London | Permanent | Onsite
We're seeking an IT Engineer to join a busy and technically diverse IT team, supporting critical infrastructure, systems, networks, and business technology services within a highly regulated environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Microsoft infrastructure experience who wants to develop their expertise across enterprise technologies.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing Tier 2 IT support across infrastructure and business systems.
- Managing servers, storage, virtual environments, and network infrastructure.
- Supporting Active Directory, Exchange, VMware, backup solutions, and monitoring platforms.
- Assisting with IT asset management, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity processes.
- Maintaining and enhancing security across networks, servers, and desktop environments.
- Working closely with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to ensure high availability of IT services.
- Producing documentation, procedures, and operational reports.

Skills & Experience
- 3+ years' experience in IT Infrastructure / Systems Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Windows Server & Windows 10/11
- Active Directory, Exchange, RDS & DFS
- VMware vSphere / ESXi
- Backup technologies (Veeam preferred)
- Network switching, routing & firewalls
- Server hardware support and troubleshooting
- Infrastructure monitoring tools
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
- English and Mandarin language skills are highly desirable.

Desirable Certifications
- Microsoft Certifications (MCSA / MCSE / equivalent)
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
- CCNA or CCNP
