About The Role
MKNet is a technical services provider delivering high-quality field engineering and technology deployment services to the hospitality sector.
We're looking for an I.T. Field Engineer based in either the Midlands or North of England (Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield region) to support hospitality venues across the UK. This role involves a mix of installations, customer training, go-lives, and technology deployments across some of the industry's most exciting brands.
Working closely with customers, venue teams, and project stakeholders, you'll play a key role in delivering successful deployments and providing outstanding technical support in fast-paced hospitality environments.
What You'll Be Doing
- Installing and supporting POS systems, routers, switches, and wireless networks.
- Delivering on-site technical support and troubleshooting.
- Supporting venue openings, upgrades, and technology rollouts.
- Conducting site surveys and providing technical feedback.
- Working closely with customers and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.

What We're Looking For
- 1+ years' experience in a field engineering, hospitality technology, or IT support role.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of networking, including routers, switches, Wi-Fi, IP addressing, and DNS.
- Excellent customer-facing and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently on customer sites and as part of a wider team.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to travel throughout the Midlands, North of England, and occasionally the rest of the country.
- Flexible with working hours and willing to work evenings, early mornings and occasional weekends. Some paid overtime is expected with this role.
