IT Field Engineer (MSP) – London
£33,000 – £38,000 | Hybrid | Permanent
We’re recruiting an experienced IT Field Engineer to join a London-based Managed Service Provider.
This is a hybrid, client-facing role combining regular onsite support across client locations with remote ticket handling, administration, and project support.
You’ll be the face of IT for clients, taking ownership of day-to-day technical issues and providing a professional, consistent, and high-quality support experience.
The role:
- 3 days per week onsite across London client locations
- 2 days remote handling tickets and administration
- Provide onsite and remote IT support across multiple client environments
- Troubleshoot Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Intune, endpoint, and networking issues
- Manage tickets end-to-end, from investigation through to resolution and user communication
- Handle onboarding, leavers, device builds, hardware deployments, and application installations
- Support Microsoft 365 changes, device rollouts, networking changes, and other small projects
- Build strong relationships with clients and act as a trusted IT presence onsite

What we’re looking for:
- Ideally 3–5 years’ hands-on IT support experience, ideally within an MSP or multi-client environment
- Strong Microsoft 365 administration skills, including Entra ID, Exchange Online, and Intune
- Confident supporting both Windows and macOS
- Good networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and Wi-Fi
- Excellent communication skills and a strong desk-side manner
- Comfortable working independently and engaging professionally with clients at all levels
- London-based or reliably commutable, with the ability to travel to client sites

Experience with SharePoint, Teams administration, Power Platform, RMM/PSA tools, Jamf, and practical networking would be advantageous.
Salary:
£33,000 – £38,000 + pension, holidays, training, and progression.
