At KeolisAmey Docklands (KAD), we operate and maintain the Docklands Light Railway (DLR), delivering a safe, reliable and high-performing railway for millions of passengers every year. We're looking for an experienced IT Manager to lead the delivery, performance and continuous improvement of our IT services, ensuring the technology that supports our business and railway operations remains secure, resilient and fit for the future.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of IT & Information Security, you'll lead the operational delivery of IT services across KAD, ensuring infrastructure, systems and support services enable the safe and reliable operation of the DLR network. You'll act as the senior operational IT lead, overseeing service delivery, cyber security controls, supplier performance, infrastructure resilience and IT governance. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business, Keolis Group IT teams, Transport for London (TfL) and external suppliers to ensure IT services are aligned to operational requirements, regulatory obligations and industry best practice. You'll also support digital transformation initiatives, technology projects and continuous improvement across the organisation.

What You'll Do

  • Lead KAD's IT service delivery function, including Service Desk, infrastructure and business systems.
  • Act as the senior escalation point for IT incidents, service disruptions and operational issues.
  • Ensure IT services meet availability, reliability, performance and security requirements.
  • Maintain and improve IT Service Management processes aligned to ITIL principles.
  • Manage IT assets, procurement activities, suppliers, contracts and service level agreements.
  • Lead infrastructure upgrades, system migrations and technology improvement projects.
  • Support cyber security governance, vulnerability management, disaster recovery and business continuity activities.
  • Ensure compliance with internal governance requirements, franchise obligations and audit standards.
  • Work closely with Information Security teams to maintain robust security controls across IT systems.
  • Lead, coach and develop the IT team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
