IT Network Manager
Exeter, Devon (Hybrid-working)
3-month contract (via Umbrella)
Market Rates
Skills and Experience:
- 3+ years’ experience working in an IT network manager or similar role
- Degree/Professional Certification or equivalent experience
- Excellent all round IT Infrastructure experience
- Understanding of cyber security risks and an ability to manage these
- The ability to plan, organise and analyse your own work
- Can maintain effective personal relationships
- Can work within a team and independently
- Experience with multiple technologies such as Windows Server, VMWare, Networking etc.
- Proactively administer and maintain the firm’s IT systems, servers and network infrastructure across all offices
- Ensure availability, security, and performance of all IT systems, including backups and disaster recovery
- Troubleshoot systems, software and network problems minimizing downtime
- Install and configure hardware and software
- Manage software and hardware upgrades, patches, and licensing
- Manage and implement security event management systems, intrusion prevention systems, vulnerability scanning tools and end point security systems
- Manage the technical implementation of agreed projects and initiatives, working with required parties to ensure successful delivery

The Opportunity:
My client is a leading law firm currently looking for an IT Network Manager on a contract basis for 3 months. In this role you will be providing architectural and design input to the strategic direction and development of the firms IT infrastructure and systems and investigate and evaluate new products or technologies and make recommendations to the Head of IT.
You will also Actively design, review and propose improvements to processes, procedures, systems and services and establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and new vendors and suppliers. Finally, you will maintain documentation of systems, networks, policies, procedures and other technical information.
