IT Operations Manager
IT Operations Manager is sought by a high-growth FinTech based in Nottingham that operates at the forefront of AI innovation across financial services.
As the business continues to grow internationally, they’re looking for an experienced IT Operations Manager to take ownership of their corporate IT environment and help build a secure, scalable and well-run technology operation.
This is a hands-on role for someone who relishes the autonomy to drive change. You’ll own the day-to-day IT environment, manage key technology partners, strengthen security and operational controls, and identify opportunities to automate repetitive processes.
This isn't a traditional infrastructure management role, and you won't simply be managing a helpdesk. You'll be responsible for creating an IT operating model that can scale with the business. If you're someone who spots an inefficient process and immediately starts thinking about how it could be simplified, automated or improved, this could be a great opportunity.
The Role
As IT Operations Manager, you'll take ownership of corporate IT operations across a modern, cloud-first Microsoft environment supporting teams across multiple international locations. You'll work closely with senior leadership, internal teams, managed service providers and technology vendors to ensure employees have secure, reliable technology while continually improving the way IT services are delivered.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
