IT Operations Manager

Sellick Partnership are partnering with a professional services business to recruit an IT Operations Manager on a permanent basis in Leeds.

The IT Operations Manager will lead and develop their IT function, ensuring the security, infrastructure and systems are aligned with the business's strategic goals.

You will take ownership of the IT function with autonomy to shape the IT Strategy, make improvements and lead real impact across the business.

What you will be doing:

  • Full oversight of the business network and server operations.
  • Leading IT risk management, back up and disaster recovery.
  • Managing IT budgets and forecasting across the IT function.
  • Providing 2nd and 3rd line support when needed across software, hardware and operating systems.
  • Managing Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
  • Maintaining Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation.
  • Implementation and maintenance of network, data and communications security.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience with Microsoft Server (2025, 2022, 2019) and Azure, Intune, Entra and Microsoft 365.
  • SQL database knowledge.
  • Case management system experience (pref P4W).
  • IT Service Management and also the management of 3rd part suppliers.
  • Understanding of cyber security and best practice as well as experience with Cyber Essentials.
  • Preferably experience within a professional services business.
