IT Operations Manager
West Yorkshire - Hybrid
Up to £50,000 + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Pension
Excellent opportunity for an experienced IT Manager, IT Service Manager or Infrastructure Manager to join a well-established organisation in a key leadership position, overseeing IT service delivery, infrastructure, cloud operations, and cyber security.
The organisation is continuing to invest in its technology function and is looking for someone who can take ownership of the day-to-day IT service whilst also contributing to longer-term improvements across infrastructure, security, and resilience.
You will take ownership of the effective operation of the organisation's IT services, combining service management, technical oversight, and continuous improvement. You'll oversee the service desk, hybrid infrastructure, and cloud environment, cyber security, IT assets, and disaster recovery, whilst working closely with stakeholders across the business.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience managing an IT support or infrastructure function, with a strong technical background across hybrid infrastructure, cloud, networking, and cyber security. Experience within financial services or another regulated environment will be highly beneficial, particularly where you've worked across risk, compliance, audit, and security controls.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced IT professional looking for a varied leadership role where you can combine people management and service delivery with strong technical knowledge and continuous improvement.
The Role:
- Lead and develop the IT support and infrastructure function
- Take ownership of IT service delivery, infrastructure, and cloud operations
- Oversee IT service desk, incident/problem management, IT assets, and technical escalation
- Manage cyber security operations, controls, resilience, backup, and disaster recovery
- Lead IT change, risk, and compliance activity whilst supporting ongoing technology improvements

The Person:
- Previous experience in an IT leadership role such as IT Manager, IT Service Manager, Infrastructure Manager, or similar
- Strong technical background across IT infrastructure, cloud, networking, and core IT services
- Experience managing and developing an IT support or infrastructure function
- Strong understanding of cyber security, risk, compliance, and operational security
- Previous experience within financial services or another regulated environment
