Enterprise IT Operations Expert – Short-Term AI Evaluation Project

Location: United Kingdom / UK

Engagement: Short-term contractual / Expert Review

Duration: October 2–5

Time Commitment: Approximately 5–10 hours + 30–60 minute discussion

About the Project

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise IT Operations / IT Service Delivery professional to support a short-term expert review project for an AI evaluation program. The assignment involves reviewing a detailed internal IT operating specification for a fictional mid-sized software company and determining whether its processes, systems, controls, and service-management practices could realistically operate within a UK enterprise technology environment.

This is a specialist human expert evaluation assignment, rather than a conventional service-desk position.

Responsibilities

The selected expert will review the IT operating specification and identify:

  • Operational errors, gaps, and contradictions
  • Unrealistic IT processes or workflows
  • Missing controls and operational steps
  • Joiner, mover, and leaver process issues
  • Identity and access-management concerns
  • Service Desk and ITSM process issues
  • SaaS administration and licensing considerations
  • Endpoint and device-management concerns
  • Migration and continuity issues
  • Ownership and approval ambiguities
  • UK/US data-handling considerations
  • Boundaries between Enterprise IT, Security, People Operations, and application owners

The expert will record material findings in a structured workbook and participate in a 30–60 minute discussion regarding the findings.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
