Key Responsibilities
- Support external Project Managers in the delivery of assigned projects throughout their lifecycle.
- Act as a focal point for incoming project-related requests and coordinate local support, planning, and scheduling.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate effective communication between project stakeholders.
- Coordinate project management activities in accordance with applicable project management policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Support Project Managers in achieving project milestones and coordinating activities with relevant technical and operational stakeholders.
- Support cost, technical, resource, and workforce assessments for existing and emerging requirements.
- Assist with project planning, prioritization, and resource allocation.
- Support Account Managers with the coordination of related customer requests.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, meeting agendas, minutes, action trackers, version-controlled documents, and lessons learned.
- Coordinate technical support requirements with technical coordination teams, technicians, engineers, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Support monitoring and control of project resources, revenue, capital costs, and assigned project budgets.
- Coordinate project activities with internal organizational elements, NATO committees, customer organizations, and other stakeholders.
- Support project risk management and provide risk-related guidance to Project Managers.
- Coordinate and manage on-site contractors supporting local project delivery.
- Support the preparation and management of local change requests related to project work services.
- Represent the project coordination function at working groups, steering groups, conferences, and planning meetings when required.
- Perform quality assurance activities to ensure project deliverables meet agreed standards.
- Stay current with developments in project and service management methodologies, tools, and relevant technologies.
- Deputize for senior staff when required.

Mandatory Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree from a nationally recognized/certified university in a related discipline plus at least 2 years of post-related experience.
- Exceptionally, candidates without a university degree may be considered where they demonstrate at least 2 years of extensive and progressive experience directly related to the function of the post.
- Demonstrated experience in project management, including development and implementation of business processes to meet identified business needs while managing resources, cost, timescales, and quality.
- Experience advising on and ensuring the definition, documentation, and satisfactory completion of small to medium-scale projects.
- Prior experience working as a Project Manager, including:
- Developing project plans
- Preparing funding/cost estimates
- Defining contracting requirements
- Directing day-to-day project activities
- Preparing project reports
- Providing project status updates
- Delivering briefings to senior officials
- Experience supporting the lifecycle of Information Systems and coordinating operational and exercise requirements with relevant technical and operational stakeholders.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- Knowledge of System Analysis principles and Information Systems development.
- Technical understanding of distributed Information Systems, Command and Control Information Systems, LAN/WAN environments, and related technologies.
- Knowledge of ITIL, Project Management, Information and Knowledge Management (IKM), and Information Systems Engineering.
- Knowledge of NATO resource management procedures, policies, procedures, and NATO CIS organization.
- Postgraduate qualification/diploma in an Information Systems Engineering-related discipline.
- Membership of a recognized professional body or institution.
- Previous experience working in an international environment involving both military and civilian stakeholders.
- Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organization.
