Role: Project Manager - Hyperscale & AI Data Centre Connectivity
Location: UK based / European travel
Employment: Permanent
Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 + Package
We are working with a specialist data centre connectivity and fibre infrastructure business delivering complex physical network infrastructure for major hyperscale environments across Europe.
Due to significant growth within their data centre division, they are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale connectivity programmes supporting next-generation AI and high-performance computing infrastructure.
This is a highly client-facing and delivery-focused position involving significant European travel, typically operating on a 3/1 rotation across projects in locations including Norway, Portugal and other European data centre markets.
What you'll be doing
- Taking ownership of hyperscale connectivity projects from mobilisation through installation, testing, handover and commercial close
- Managing large-scale fibre and structured cabling deployments supporting high-density data centre environments
- Coordinating physical network infrastructure supporting spine-leaf architectures, GPU clusters and high-performance compute environments
- Leading supervisors, engineers, subcontractors and specialist vendors across site delivery
- Managing project programmes, resources, risks, quality and commercial performance
- Acting as the primary client interface and providing clear reporting on progress, risks and constraints
- Managing project P&L, budgets, forecasting, variations and change control
- Coordinating labour and resources across demanding installation programmes, including multi-shift delivery where required
- Ensuring installations meet hyperscale standards for quality, uptime, security and compliance
- Overseeing RAMS, H&S and project governance
- Supporting technical and pre-construction discussions to ensure proposed solutions are practical and deliverable
- Driving projects through testing, commissioning, documentation and final client sign-off

What we're looking for
- Hyperscale data centre project experience is essential
- Strong Project Management background within fibre, structured cabling, ICT or physical network infrastructure
- Experience delivering large-scale, high-value connectivity projects within live or new-build data centre environments
- Strong understanding of fibre, copper, structured cabling and high-density connectivity
- Experience managing installation teams, subcontractors and multiple project workstreams
- Strong commercial awareness, including P&L, forecasting and change management
- Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working within fast-moving, high-pressure hyperscale environments
- Willing and able to travel extensively throughout Europe on a 3/1 rotation

Highly desirable
- Experience delivering the physical network infrastructure behind AI-ready data centres would be particularly valuable, including exposure to GPU deployments, high-density racks, high-count fibre, spine-leaf network architecture and high-performance computing environments.
