We’re working with a Leading Law Firm to recruit an experienced IT Project Manager to join their technology team on a 14 month contract.
This is a key role responsible for managing the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of IT projects, working closely with technical teams, business stakeholders and senior sponsors.
The Role
- Lead IT projects from planning through to delivery and handover
- Develop project plans covering scope, budget, timelines and resources
- Manage stakeholders, risks, budgets and competing priorities
- Translate business requirements into effective technology solutions
- Support process improvement, automation and business process redesign
- Lead cross-functional project teams and ensure key milestones are delivered
- Conduct post-project reviews and identify areas for improvement

About You
- Proven experience delivering IT projects using recognised project management methodologies
- Experience managing a varied IT project portfolio, including applications, software implementations, infrastructure and office moves
- Strong understanding of IT and business applications
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong process mapping and project leadership abilities
- Comfortable working with technical teams and translating technical concepts for business stakeholders
- Experience within the legal sector is highly desirable

Desirable: Business Analysis qualifications, PRINCE2 Foundation/Practitioner, and knowledge of technologies such as iManage, SharePoint, Active Directory, messaging, virtualisation and LAN/WAN.
