We’re working with a Leading Law Firm to recruit an experienced IT Project Manager to join their technology team on a 14 month contract.

This is a key role responsible for managing the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of IT projects, working closely with technical teams, business stakeholders and senior sponsors.

The Role

  • Lead IT projects from planning through to delivery and handover
  • Develop project plans covering scope, budget, timelines and resources
  • Manage stakeholders, risks, budgets and competing priorities
  • Translate business requirements into effective technology solutions
  • Support process improvement, automation and business process redesign
  • Lead cross-functional project teams and ensure key milestones are delivered
  • Conduct post-project reviews and identify areas for improvement

About You

  • Proven experience delivering IT projects using recognised project management methodologies
  • Experience managing a varied IT project portfolio, including applications, software implementations, infrastructure and office moves
  • Strong understanding of IT and business applications
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong process mapping and project leadership abilities
  • Comfortable working with technical teams and translating technical concepts for business stakeholders
  • Experience within the legal sector is highly desirable
