IT Project Manager Consultant - Office Relocation
We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead all technology aspects of a major office relocation project.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all IT and AV workstreams from planning through to post-move support.
- Create and maintain project plans, RAID logs, budgets, and status reports.
- Coordinate internal teams, consultants, suppliers, contractors, and telecoms providers.
- Manage telecoms delivery, including wayleave agreements, internet connectivity, and carrier provisioning.
- Oversee IT infrastructure and AV installations, ensuring they are delivered on time and to specification.
- Track project budgets, forecasts, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Report progress, risks, and issues to senior IT leadership, including the CIO.
- Support supplier selection, procurement activities, and RFP processes.
- Ensure all systems are tested, commissioned, and operational before office occupation.

Required Experience
- Proven IT Project Management experience delivering office relocation, workplace transformation, or fit-out projects.
- Strong understanding of telecoms infrastructure, fibre connectivity, ISPs, and wayleave processes.
- Experience managing third-party suppliers, consultants, and contractors.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior executives.
- Budget management, forecasting, and financial reporting experience.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with project management tools such as MS Project or Smartsheet.

Desirable
- PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent certification.
- Experience with structured cabling, comms rooms, and data centre environments.
- Knowledge of AV technologies including video conferencing and digital signage.
- Familiarity with construction and fit-out projects.
- Experience working within a CIO-led technology function.
- Knowledge of AI tools and prompting.
