IT Project Manager – up to £550 per day (INSIDE IR35) – Leatherhead, Surrey – initial 6 month contract

We have an exciting opportunity for a IT Project Manager with experience managing data, reporting, BI and dashboarding projects from initiation through to delivery. You will establish project structures, define requirements and deliverables, develop and maintain plans, manage risks and dependencies, and ensure effective reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

We have immediate and future demand for BI reporting and dashboarding solutions, so we are particularly interested in candidates who have delivered projects involving Microsoft data and reporting technologies, including Power BI and the wider Power Platform.

Key responsibilities:

  • Define and agree project scope, outputs, timescales, quality and cost criteria.
  • Work with business stakeholders to understand data, MI, reporting and dashboarding requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into clear project deliverables and technical requirements.
  • Establish project structures, roles, responsibilities and delivery teams.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, dependencies and delivery roadmaps.
  • Manage the delivery of BI, reporting and data-focused solutions, ensuring projects remain on track.
  • Manage risks, issues, dependencies and change control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure projects comply with appropriate methodology, governance and quality standards.
  • Monitor and report project progress to senior stakeholders.
  • Manage entry and exit criteria across project stages.
  • Support the successful integration of data from multiple business systems and sources.
  • Work closely with technical teams to ensure reporting solutions meet business requirements and are scalable and fit for purpose.
  • Demonstrate a collaborative approach and willingness to step outside traditional project management responsibilities when required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
