Junior IT Project Manager (Graduate)

Onsite, Altrincham (Greater Manchester)
Permanent, full time (9:00am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday)

We are recruiting on behalf of a growing software business that helps laboratories improve workflow efficiency, data management, and reporting through innovative technology solutions.

They are seeking a motivated and organised Graduate Junior Project Manager to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to start a career in project management, software delivery, and technology.

Previous project management experience is not essential, although applicants with some project management exposure will have an advantage. Full training, support, and hands-on project experience will be provided, giving you the opportunity to develop valuable skills and build a successful long-term career within a supportive and collaborative environment.

This is primarily an onsite role, enabling you to work closely with experienced colleagues and gain valuable hands-on experience. However, occasional home working can be arranged where appropriate.

What you'll be doing;

  • Supporting Project Managers with the delivery of software projects
  • Organising meetings, project actions, and project documentation
  • Taking notes and tracking project updates and timelines
  • Communicating with colleagues across different teams
  • Helping ensure tasks and project activities stay on track
  • Learning project management tools and best practices

About you;

  • Recent university graduate or soon to be graduate
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to spot inaccuracies and ensure information is kept up to date
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Eager to learn and develop a career in project management
  • Positive attitude and strong team player
