Role: Project Manager - Data Centre Connectivity/Structured Cabling

We are working with a specialist data centre infrastructure and connectivity provider delivering complex fibre, structured cabling and physical network infrastructure projects. Due to continued growth, they are looking for experienced Project Managers to lead connectivity projects across data centres throughout the London area.
What you'll be doing
- Lead fibre and structured cabling project delivery across mission-critical data centre environments.
- Act as the primary interface between clients, subcontractors, supervisors and internal delivery teams.
- Own project planning, mobilisation, installation methodology, scheduling and handover.
- Lead site teams and ensure clear accountability across programme, quality, safety and productivity.
- Manage subcontractor performance and resolve delivery challenges as they arise.
- Provide accurate internal and client-facing progress reports using agreed project controls.
- Oversee project documentation, risk registers, variations and change control.
- Work closely with commercial and procurement teams to support profitable project delivery.
- Ensure materials, specialist equipment and labour are coordinated against programme requirements.
- Drive testing, commissioning, snagging and final handover to the required client standards.
- Maintain strong client relationships throughout delivery.

What we're looking for
- Proven experience managing fibre, structured cabling or connectivity projects.
- Strong understanding of optical fibre, copper cabling and associated physical network infrastructure.
- Experience leading supervisors, technicians and subcontractors within demanding project environments.
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management capability.
- Commercial awareness including cost control, procurement and variation management.
- Good understanding of project planning, risk management, documentation and reporting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project and standard project management tools.
- Project Management qualifications, CDCPM, SMSTS, IOSH or similar credentials are advantageous.

Highly desirable
- Previous hyperscale or large-scale data centre project experience.
- Experience supporting AI-ready physical network infrastructure, including high-density or GPU-based deployments such as NVIDIA environments, would be particularly valuable.
- Strong technical understanding of fibre and structured cabling within mission-critical environments.
- Openness to international travel for future project requirements.
Package & opportunities
- £65,000 - £75,000 base salary.
- Flexibility above the advertised range for candidates with a demonstrable high-level track record in hyperscale connectivity or specialist technical delivery.
- International project opportunities may arise as the business continues to deliver globally.
- Where overseas deployment is required, accommodation and travel are provided and an additional salary/rate uplift is applied.
