Assignment Description
For one of our clients from the banking sector, we are looking for a Project Manager.
Please note, the client aims to cooperate with a hybrid mode: 3 days per week in one of the listed office locations.
Job Description
This activity is considered large and includes new data integrations, new scenario development, testing, and activation across four countries.
The consultant will be involved in the delivery of the client's Finance receivables stream via a dedicated Contextual Monitoring solution, which is to be prioritized in 2026.
Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced professional to take responsibility for the governance, oversight, and continuous management of Transaction Monitoring models and model-related regulatory commitments.
- Own and maintain the model management roadmap, translating financial crime strategy, risk priorities, regulatory requirements, and business needs into a clear and prioritized validation, remediation, and governance plan.
- Drive model prioritization activities, balancing model risk, regulatory commitments, validation findings, technical sustainability, and available capacity.
- Work closely with Capability Leads, Model Owners, and Subject Matter Experts to ensure model development, validation, implementation, and ongoing monitoring activities are aligned with business objectives and regulatory expectations.
- Coordinate and oversee model validation activities, ensuring findings, recommendations, limitations, assumptions, and model risks are appropriately documented, tracked, and remediated.
- Partner with Model Risk Management, Financial Crime, Technology, and Operations stakeholders to ensure validation requirements and intended outcomes are clearly understood and effectively addressed.
- Support coordination of model priorities, dependencies, remediation activities, and governance outcomes across multiple Transaction Monitoring initiatives to ensure end-to-end model compliance and effectiveness.
- Define and communicate model governance priorities, validation outcomes, remediation plans, and success measures, ensuring stakeholders understand key risks, decisions, and required actions.
- Represent Transaction Monitoring models within governance, validation, and prioritization forums, ensuring attention is directed towards the highest-risk and highest-priority model matters.
- Maintain an end-to-end view of the model lifecycle, from model design and implementation through validation, approval, ongoing monitoring, change management, periodic review, and retirement.
- Use validation results, model performance metrics, risk insights, regulatory feedback, and stakeholder input to identify opportunities to improve model effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance.
- Oversee the tracking and closure of model findings, audit observations, regulatory commitments, and risk acceptance actions, ensuring timely remediation and robust evidence of compliance.
- Understand dependencies across Transaction Monitoring, data, technology, operations, and wider Financial Crime capabilities and ensure these are appropriately reflected in model governance, validation, and remediation decisions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
