Sales Manager – IT Services & Technology Solutions

Location: London, UK
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced B2B Sales professional to lead business development and revenue generation within the assigned market. The role involves identifying new enterprise opportunities, building relationships with senior stakeholders, and driving technology-led solutions from the initial discussion through successful closure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT services, technology solutions, digital transformation, cloud, managed services, or enterprise technology sales, along with a proven ability to develop and close high-value business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own sales and business development activities for the assigned geography and work towards achieving revenue targets.
  • Identify potential enterprise clients through market mapping, outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and industry connections.
  • Develop relationships with CXOs, CIOs/CTOs, IT heads, procurement teams, and other senior decision-makers.
  • Manage opportunities throughout the sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, requirement discovery, solution positioning, proposals, commercial discussions, negotiations, and closure.
  • Engage with clients to understand their business and technology requirements and recommend relevant IT solutions and services.
  • Work closely with technical, presales, delivery, and leadership teams to create customized solution proposals and presentations.
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide regular updates on opportunity status, expected closures, and revenue forecasts.
  • Lead client discussions, business presentations, negotiations, and commercial conversations.
  • Track developments in the technology market, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities.
  • Contribute to customer acquisition, revenue growth, and expansion of existing client relationships.

Desired Profile

  • 10+ years of experience in B2B sales, enterprise technology sales, IT services, technology consulting, or related domains.
  • Demonstrated experience in new business development and enterprise deal closures.
  • Strong understanding of one or more areas such as IT services, cloud solutions, digital transformation, application services, infrastructure, managed services, or enterprise technology.
  • Experience selling to mid-market or enterprise customers and engaging with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong business communication, presentation, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
  • Hands-on experience using CRM platforms for opportunity tracking, pipeline management, and sales forecasting.
  • Ability to independently manage a territory while effectively coordinating with internal teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a result-oriented approach to achieving sales and revenue goals.
