IT Sourcing Manager
Yorkshire (Hybrid)
£50,000 - £55,000 + benefits
We’re working with a leading financial services organisation in Yorkshire that is looking for an experienced IT Sourcing Manager to join its procurement team.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of strategic IT sourcing and procurement projects, working closely with technology and business stakeholders to deliver commercial value, manage supplier risk, and optimise the organisation’s technology supplier landscape.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for leading sourcing activity across areas such as IT hardware, software, technology services, and digital, with a focus on:
- Leading strategic IT sourcing and procurement projects
- Developing sourcing strategies using market insight and benchmarking
- Negotiating commercial terms, contracts, rate cards, and supplier agreements
- Managing supplier risk and third-party risk requirements
- Supporting contract reviews and commercial governance
- Identifying opportunities to reduce cost and improve value
- Working closely with Technology, Finance, Risk, Legal, and wider business stakeholders
- Ensuring strong total cost of ownership and commercial outcomes

What We're Looking For
You’ll ideally have experience as an IT Sourcing Manager, IT Procurement Manager, Technology Category Manager, or Strategic Sourcing Manager, with:

- Strong IT/Technology sourcing experience
- Experience across software, hardware, IT services, and/or digital categories
- Proven strategic sourcing and negotiation skills
- Strong supplier and third-party risk management experience
- A track record of delivering procurement savings and commercial benefits
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Financial services experience is desirable
