Role Description
This full-time, on-site Information Technology Specialist role is based in the London Area, United Kingdom. The IT Specialist will manage and maintain network and systems infrastructure, including monitoring performance, applying updates, and ensuring secure, stable operations. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues, implementing network security measures, and escalating complex problems when needed. The role involves providing responsive customer service to internal users, supporting onboarding and offboarding processes, and documenting procedures and resolutions for knowledge sharing. The IT Specialist will collaborate with other technology and business teams to support projects, improve processes, and align IT services with organizational goals.

- Strong foundation in Information Technology, including familiarity with operating systems, hardware, and common business applications.
- Proficiency in Network Administration and Network Security to configure, monitor, and protect network infrastructure.
- Advanced Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving technical issues across devices, networks, and software.
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills with the ability to communicate clearly, support users, and manage expectations.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft, Cisco) and experience in an IT support or specialist role.
- Ability to work on-site in the London Area, manage priorities in a fast-paced environment, and maintain accurate technical documentation.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and commitment to security and data privacy best practices.
- Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
