Strategy Consultant / Digital Transformation
- Duration: 6 months
- Location: Hybrid Berkshire
- Rate: £650-750 per day inside IR35
Role Overview
Working under the CIO / Strategy Lead, this role contributes to the development and execution of digital transformation initiatives that drive business growth. The primary focus is to identify and shape transformation initiatives based on technology challenges, opportunities, and strategic objectives. The role is expected to proactively propose ideas and independently prepare related materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop input and recommendations for IT and digital transformation strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Propose ideas for AI adoption and data utilization strategies.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and prepare materials for technology adoption planning.
- Contribute to IT organizational transformation and workforce capability development planning.
- Contribute to vendor strategy and strategic partnership planning.
- Contribute to broader business initiatives related to IT strategy and transformation.

Must-Have Requirements
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in IT strategy, digital transformation, or related fields.
- Management experience at Manager level or above.
- Solid understanding of IT investment fundamentals, including investment return evaluation and portfolio management.
Nice-to-Have Requirements
Experience
- Experience in strategy consulting.
- Experience leading or managing global IT functions.
- Proven experience in AI and data-driven transformation initiatives.
- Experience in projects involving mixed international teams.
Desired Profile
- Able to bridge business strategy and technology.
- Strong strategic thinking and execution capabilities.
- Demonstrated leadership skills to drive or contribute to large-scale transformation initiatives.
- Able to proactively propose ideas and independently prepare related materials.

This temporary contract is inside IR35 and will require working under the direction of the client delivery manager as part of a multi-disciplinary team. The successful candidate will follow established delivery processes and working practices.
This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and be eligible for UK Security Vetting at SC level. Clearance sponsorship will be provided where required. Due to the nature of the work, candidates should meet the relevant residency requirements (5 years). If applicable, reserved post nationality restrictions will be confirmed by the client.
