Role: Connectivity Supervisor (Data Centre Structured Cabling and Hardware installs)
Location: London - data centre projects across the M25
Employment: Permanent
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + company van + additional paid hour
We are working with a specialist data centre infrastructure and connectivity provider delivering structured cabling, fibre and physical network infrastructure for major data centre environments. They are looking for an experienced Connectivity Supervisor to lead installation teams across projects throughout the London area.
What you'll be doing
- Supervise structured cabling and fibre installation teams across data centre projects.
- Coordinate daily labour, work fronts, installation priorities and short-term programme requirements.
- Ensure technicians understand drawings, specifications, installation methods and daily targets.
- Oversee installation, termination, testing, labelling and patching of copper and fibre infrastructure.
- Monitor productivity and progress, identifying potential delays or resource issues early.
- Carry out quality checks and ensure installations meet client, company and manufacturer standards.
- Coordinate snagging, testing, commissioning and project close-out activities.
- Maintain accurate progress reports, labour records, timesheets and daily site documentation.
- Ensure materials, tools and equipment are available when required.
- Liaise with Project Managers, clients, subcontractors and other trades on site.
- Ensure RAMS and safe systems of work are followed, supporting toolbox talks and inductions where required.
- Maintain high standards of PPE, conduct and professional presentation across the site team.

What we're looking for
- Strong background within structured cabling, fibre or data centre connectivity.
- Previous experience supervising cable technicians, engineers or installation teams.
- Good practical understanding of copper and fibre installation, termination and testing.
- Ability to read construction drawings, schematics and cabling schedules.
- Strong understanding of installation quality, testing requirements and safe systems of work.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills, with the confidence to coordinate teams on busy sites.
- SSSTS/SMSTS, ECS/CSCS, IPAF/PASMA or relevant industry qualifications are advantageous.

- Previous hyperscale or large-scale data centre project experience.
- Experience supporting AI-ready physical network infrastructure, including high-density or GPU-based deployments such as NVIDIA environments, would be particularly valuable.
- Strong technical understanding of fibre and structured cabling within mission-critical environments.
- Openness to international travel for future project requirements.
Package & opportunities
- £45,000 - £50,000 base salary, with flexibility for candidates with an exceptional technical or hyperscale track record.
- Company van provided.
- 40-hour working week with overtime opportunities.
- Additional discretionary paid hour for each working day where expected standards are maintained, including full PPE, clean workwear, professional presentation and appropriate client conduct.
- For somebody earning the additional hour consistently across a normal five-day week, this is equivalent to approximately £5,625 - £6,250 additional annual pay before other overtime.
- International project opportunities may arise, with accommodation and travel provided and an additional salary/rate uplift applied while working overseas.
