Role Description
The Information Technology Support Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Castle Donington. This role is responsible for providing day-to-day technical support to internal users, including diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues. The analyst will monitor systems, escalate complex problems when necessary, and document incidents and resolutions in line with company procedures. They will assist with user account administration, device setup, software installations, and routine maintenance to ensure stable and secure IT operations. The role also involves collaborating with colleagues to improve support processes, communicating clearly with non-technical users, and contributing to small-scale IT projects and upgrades.

- Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills to resolve hardware, software, and network issues effectively.
- Information Technology knowledge, including common operating systems, business applications, and basic networking concepts.
- Analytical Skills to diagnose problems, interpret logs or error messages, and identify root causes.
- Communication abilities to explain technical information clearly, provide user guidance, and collaborate with team members.
- Experience in an IT helpdesk or support environment, preferably within a business or distribution setting.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems, remote support tools, and standard security practices.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work calmly under pressure.
- Relevant IT qualifications or certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft, or equivalent) are beneficial.
