IT Support Engineer

£200-275 per day, Outside IR35

Initially until the end of Jan 2027 (+ Likely extensions)

2.5 Days per week onsite in Newport

Unify are exclusively partnering with a well known brand in the Defence industry. We are supporting them by strengthening their IT team with crucial Contractor hires who can hit the ground running and add value from day one.

We are seeking 2 x highly skilled IT Support Engineers to join the team in Newport ASAP. You'll be looking after internal IT users.

We need:

  • Solid 1st/2nd line skills: Laptop provisioning, Wifi issues, printer problems, password resets, security issues - very much helpdesk/desktop related.
  • Good customer service and communication.

What you'll do:

  • Own tickets in ITSM (logging, response, resolution).
  • Deliver fast, friendly support for routine issues.
  • Produce simple knowledge articles as you go.
