1st Line IT Engineer
Taunton, Somerset (Office based)
Up to £29,000 per year
Plus 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, Pension, Bonuses, etc.
Skills and Experience:
- Enthusiasm to learn new systems and skills, with a demonstrable interest in IT and minimum 6 months experience in a commercial environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent computer literacy
- Confident in using MS operating systems and MS Office 365 products (Word, Outlook and Excel)
- Self-motivated and proactive, able to troubleshoot
- Excellent organisational skills
- Understanding of a range of IT software and hardware
- Provide 1st line support to all users offering them support and guidance in the use of operating systems and associated software
- Develop skills and knowledge across various areas of IT support and systems
- Support the preparation, maintenance and refurbishment of IT equipment

The Opportunity:
Our client based in the private sector are currently on the lookout for a 1st Line IT Engineer with a can-do attitude who is willing and able to support the IT needs of staff across the business.
The successful applicant will provide day-to-day support and assistance to the existing IT team in relation to hardware, software and general IT issues within the business.

Suitable candidates will ideally be based within commuting distance of Taunton.
