Role: IT Support Engineer
Location: London - Onsite
Salary: Up to £40,000
We're working with a well-established, high-profile organisation within the events and hospitality space!!
You'll join as the day-to-day front line for internal IT, working alongside your senior (the organisation's sole in-house IT resource) and reporting into the wider tech leadership, including the Service Delivery Manager, Project Manager and Tech Director.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being the go-to technical person on the ground - hands-on 1st line support, with real exposure to Active Directory, Entra ID, SharePoint and the organisation's core events/venue CRM.
The role
You'll be the first point of contact for internal IT issues, spending the majority of your time on the service desk. You'll be responsible for:
- 1st line support and troubleshooting across the internal user base
- User and group administration in Active Directory
- Supporting Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Conditional Access policies
- SharePoint site administration and permissions management
- Supporting and learning the organisation's core events/venue CRM (Momentus)
- Basic Windows Server tasks - patching, printer setup, general troubleshooting
- Acting as a clear, approachable point of contact for non-technical staff
- Working closely with the wider tech team as the organisation brings support in-house

What we're looking for
- Previous 1st line IT support or similar hands-on experience - not just ticket logging
- Genuine hands-on exposure to Active Directory (user/group management, permissions)
- Real, working exposure to Entra ID and Conditional Access
- SharePoint experience beyond end-user use - site/permissions administration
- Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) - held, studying towards, or a solid conceptual grasp of how cloud fits together
- Comfortable with Windows Server tasks
- CRM experience and a genuine track record of picking up new systems quickly
- Events or hospitality background is strongly preferred - the pace and priorities here are different from a standard corporate environment
- Comfortable working within a very small, close-knit IT team
- Good attitude around flexibility on timescales

The details
- Hours: 9:00-5:30, no shifts, no on-call, no evening/weekend cover
- Setup: 5 days onsite to start, moving to 1 day from home after initial period
- Salary: up to £40,000
