Cambridge (5 days a week onsite)
£32k - £35.5k
We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join an organisation in Cambridge as they continue to invest in their IT. The last 2 IT Technicians we placed have moved up into an Infrastructure role and you could do the same! With a great record of offering progression opportunities, you will also benefit from a training budget, shorter working days, enhanced pension as well as current employees reporting they feel an enormous sense of achievement by working there!
This is an onsite position, based in Cambridge 5 days per week. With plenty of free parking, cycle to work scheme and located close to the Busway, getting there shouldn’t be an issue. You will work in a small, yet very collaborative team who support around 85 users.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
