Role Description
The Information Technology Support Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in London. This role focuses on providing technical support to internal teams and program participants, resolving hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and infrastructure.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:


Get help with your application

- Responding to help desk tickets
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting technical problems
- Managing user accounts and permissions
- Supporting system administration tasks such as updates, backups, and security configurations
- Assisting with onboarding new users
- Maintaining IT documentation
- Coordinating with vendors or external partners when necessary
- Proactively monitoring system performance
- Implementing best practices
- Contributing to continuous improvement of IT support processes
Qualifications
- Strong Technical Support and Help Desk Support skills to respond to incidents, resolve user issues, and provide clear guidance.
- Solid Information Technology and System Administration skills to manage systems, networks, user accounts, and security configurations.
- Advanced Troubleshooting skills to diagnose, prioritize, and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity problems effectively.
- Relevant experience in on-site IT support within professional or educational environments is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills, customer-focused mindset, and the ability to explain technical concepts in accessible language.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tickets, and document solutions and procedures accurately.
- Familiarity with common operating systems (Windows, macOS), productivity tools, and basic networking concepts.
- A relevant diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
