Role Description

The Information Technology Support Engineer is a full-time remote role responsible for providing technical assistance to internal users and clients. This role includes diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues, responding to help desk requests, and maintaining system stability for ProVision and related platforms. The engineer will handle incident tickets, perform root cause analysis, assist with user account and access management, and support routine system administration tasks such as updates and configurations. Daily work also involves documenting solutions, contributing to knowledge base articles, and collaborating with other technology and product teams to improve overall service quality. The role requires clear communication, a customer-oriented mindset, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Technical Support and Help Desk Support, with experience assisting users and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Solid foundation in Information Technology, including familiarity with operating systems, networks, and business applications.
  • Proficiency in Troubleshooting, able to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity problems.
  • Experience with System Administration, such as user management, configuration, updates, and monitoring of IT systems.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to explain technical concepts in clear, accessible language.
  • Experience supporting remote environments and cloud-based solutions; familiarity with ticketing and documentation tools.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft or similar) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and collaborate with cross-functional teams; prior experience in a SaaS or financial/legal technology environment is a plus.

  • Reports To: IT Operations Manager
  • Location: Remote (UK)
  • Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (UK Time)
  • Salary Range: £30,000 – £35,000
