About the Role
This is a varied, people-facing role at the heart of our business. You'll be the go-to person for keeping our systems, networks and users running smoothly, working as part of a small, close-knit IT team under our IT/SAP Supervisor. It's a fully on-site role at our Oakham site, so you'll be right there with the people you support, which is exactly how we like it.

What You'll Be Doing
- Providing first-line support to colleagues in person, remotely and over the phone, resolving hardware, software and network issues through our ticketing system
- Managing user accounts and access across Microsoft 365, Active Directory and SAP, including joiners, movers and leavers
- Setting up and maintaining laptops, desktops, mobiles, printers and telephony (VoIP)
- Supporting SAP users, user access and data reporting across departments
- Carrying out routine maintenance, patching, backups and disaster recovery testing
- Keeping our environment secure with endpoint protection, firewalls and encryption, and helping colleagues stay cyber-aware
- Working with Group IT and third-party suppliers on escalations, improvements and new technology rollouts
- Keeping our asset register, licences and support documentation accurate and up to date
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues
- Windows desktop and Server administration, including Active Directory and Group Policy
- Microsoft 365 administration
- Solid networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls)
- Experience with backup systems and an understanding of disaster recovery
- Scripting skills (PowerShell, VBA) and knowledge of SQL/databases
- Familiarity with SAP or another ERP system

- Between £30-40k dependant on experience.

Location
