IT Support Specialist – Contract
Location: London – Onsite
Day Rate: £300–£345 per day
IR35: Outside IR35
Contract: Initial contract covering a period of leave
Start: Mid-October preferred
We are currently recruiting for an IT Support Specialist to join a leading global consultancy on an onsite contract basis in London.
This is a solo onsite support position, so you will be responsible for providing day-to-day IT support to users while working closely with wider network, AV and endpoint engineering teams.
The Role
You will act as the onsite point of contact for IT service delivery, ensuring users receive a high level of technical support and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Providing onsite 1st/2nd line IT support to users
- Troubleshooting end-user hardware, software and connectivity issues
- Supporting network connectivity and basic network troubleshooting
- Providing onsite support for AV systems and meeting room technology
- Managing and resolving incidents and service requests through ServiceNow
- Coordinating with external vendors and technical engineering teams
- Supporting network, AV and endpoint engineers with onsite activities
- Carrying out basic setup, testing and troubleshooting
- Maintaining a high standard of customer service and user experience
- Working autonomously and managing priorities with minimal day-to-day supervision

About You
We are looking for someone who can operate confidently in a standalone onsite IT support environment.
You should have:
- 3+ years' experience in IT Support / IT Administration
- Previous experience working within a consultancy environment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience supporting end users in a professional services environment
- Experience with ServiceNow is highly desirable
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- A proactive approach and the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Availability to start around mid-October

Working Pattern
This is an onsite London role with a two-week rotating pattern:
