🖥️ IT Support Technician

📍 Location: City of London
💷 Salary: £38,500 per annum
📄 Contract: Temporary to permanent
⚡ Start date: Immediate
🏢 Working arrangement: Fully office based

The Graduate Project is working with a professional organisation in the City of London to recruit an IT Support Technician on a temporary-to-permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous first-line IT support experience who enjoys providing hands-on technical support in a busy office environment. You will support colleagues with day-to-day IT issues and help ensure meeting-room technology, presentations, and events run smoothly.

  • Provide first-line IT support to colleagues across the organisation
  • Set up, test, and troubleshoot IT and meeting-room equipment for meetings, presentations, training sessions, and events
  • Support video conferencing technology, including Microsoft Teams
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with laptops, desktops, projectors, screens, microphones, speakers, cameras, and other equipment
  • Assist users with hardware, software, connectivity, and general IT queries
  • Log, manage, and resolve support tickets within agreed service levels
  • Maintain IT equipment, including recording faults, repairs, and asset information
  • Liaise with external suppliers where specialist support or repairs are required
  • Deliver a professional and customer-focused support service to users at all levels

👤 About you

  • Previous experience in an IT Support Technician, IT Support, Service Desk, or AV Support role
  • Proven first-line IT support experience is essential
  • Confident troubleshooting hardware, software, connectivity, and meeting-room technology
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Teams or similar video-conferencing platforms
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities
  • Comfortable working independently in a fully office-based role
  • Available to start immediately or at short notice
