Hands-On IT Support. Broader Technical Exposure. Real Responsibility.

We have partnered with an established UK business that is looking for a Group IT Support Technician to join its internal IT team.

This is a hands-on role supporting colleagues across the business while also getting involved in the wider IT environment.

You'll be responsible for resolving day-to-day technical issues, supporting users and devices, and helping maintain the systems and technology the business relies on.

Alongside user support, you will work on Microsoft 365, Active Directory, networking, infrastructure, cloud, security, system maintenance and IT projects.

It's an opportunity for an IT Support professional who wants to build on their existing experience and develop across a broader range of technology.

What You'll Do

  • Provide day-to-day IT support for hardware, software and technical issues.
  • Log, manage, update and resolve support requests through the IT Service Desk.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide practical solutions to users across the business.
  • Set up, configure and maintain laptops, desktops, mobile devices and other IT equipment.
  • Support Microsoft 365 administration and user requirements.
  • Assist with Active Directory administration, including user accounts and access.
  • Support basic network troubleshooting and IT infrastructure activities.
  • Assist with system updates, maintenance and backups.
  • Support IT upgrades, installations and system migrations.
  • Maintain accurate IT asset and user records.
  • Assist with the management and tracking of IT equipment.
  • Work with external suppliers and third parties when required.
  • Support wider IT projects and technical activities.
  • Follow company processes relating to IT security, data protection and information security.
  • Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach when supporting colleagues.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
