Systems Administrator & Applications Engineer
London | Hybrid | Up to £45,000
We’re working with a well-established, high-profile organisation within the events space that is looking for a Systems Administrator / Applications Engineer to join its internal technology team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being the go-to technical person, combining hands-on systems support with ownership of key business applications.
The role
You’ll act as a lead engineer and first point of contact across core systems, supporting users while helping maintain and improve the organisation’s cloud and SaaS environment.

- Supporting and administering Microsoft 365 and cloud-based products
- Managing and supporting key SaaS/business applications
- Acting as a lead technical contact for internal users
- Supporting and developing the organisation’s core event/venue management platform
- Troubleshooting systems and application issues
- Working closely with external technology/MSP partners
- Helping improve systems, processes and the overall user experience
What we’re looking for
- Previous Systems Administrator, Applications Support or IT Engineer experience
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 / cloud environments
- Experience supporting SaaS and business applications
- Confident troubleshooting and taking ownership of technical issues
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Personable, approachable and comfortable working with users across the business
- Able to work independently while collaborating with internal and external teams
