IT Technician
Full time role, London office based, 5-day week.
Introduction
At its heart InnoVent is an IT Equipment leasing business. What is different about us is that we have created a circular economy proposition where 2 and 3 year old laptops, desktops and tablets, initially leased to corporate and commercial businesses, are returned, refurbished and then re-rented to a secondary customer. By using and reusing IT equipment we reduce waste, expand the use of IT to second and subsequent customers and improve our environmental footprint while making an ethical profit.
"2nd Life IT" is our simple proposition was to provide refurbished and remanufactured laptops, desktops, tablets and Apple equipment either as a cash sale or as a “Device as a Service” subscription at a fraction of the cost of new equipment.
All our 2nd Life equipment has been remanufactured or refurbished to a very high standard both functionally and cosmetically and comes with the peace of mind of a “swap out” return to base warranty.
As a result of the expansion of our 2nd Life proposition over the last five years, we now need additional technical and engineering resources for our London office to support our solution.
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Technician with a technical background in the repair and refurbishment of laptops, mobile and other IT assets. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in repairing laptop and mobile devices, along with exposure in supporting the underlying operating systems (Windows 11, MacOS, Android, Apple iOS).
You will join an expanding team of technicians, providing IT services to our customer base. These services include the refurbishment of 2nd Life devices to an agreed standard, repair or replacement of devices under warranty, and inspection and grading of devices on return at the end of a lease period.
Build Relationships Across the Business
You will work closely with the Head of Remarketing, Technology Services Manager, Remarketing Operations Manager, Senior Technician and fellow IT Technicians based in our London office and interact with our enthusiastic and vigorous sales team, along with the Directors and Senior Management.
Service Excellence
The heart of our business is service delivery. It’s what differentiates our business from others.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
