We're looking for a customer-focused 1st Line IT Support Engineer
To join a leading Managed Service Provider, providing onsite support to a well-established end client in the City of London.
This is an excellent opportunity for an IT support professional who enjoys working directly with users, resolving technical issues and delivering a high standard of service in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
You'll be the first point of contact for IT support queries, assisting users both remotely and face-to-face while ensuring issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing first-line technical support via Teams, email and in person.
- Troubleshooting hardware, software and network-related issues.
- Managing incidents and requests through the ticketing system.
- Escalating more complex issues to specialist support teams.
- Installing, configuring and updating software.
- Setting up and administering user accounts and access permissions.
- Supporting users with new applications and technology adoption.
- Delivering a professional and customer-focused support experience.

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a Service Desk, Helpdesk, Desktop Support or 1st Line Support role.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with ticket management systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively in an onsite, end-user-facing environment.
- Experience supporting Microsoft-based environments would be advantageous.

Contract Details
- Location: 3 minutes from Bank Station and around 6 minutes from Liverpool Street Station
- Duration: Initial 6 months
- Rate: Up to £180 per day
- IR35 Status: Inside IR35
- Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm
- Onsite Requirement: 5 days per week
