BUILDING A MORE RESILIENT WORLD

At ClaimSorted, we're building a more resilient world - one where people and businesses have the confidence to pursue bigger opportunities. We're doing this by transforming how insurance delivers on its most important promise: helping people and businesses recover when things go wrong.

The world's largest insurers and Fortune 500 companies work with us to handle claims and manage risk more efficiently, so they - and the people they protect - can move forward with confidence.

Backed by Y Combinator, Atomico and Eurazeo, we grew 10x in the past year - and we're just getting started.

THE ROLE

We're looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to build the secure, reliable foundation everyone else at ClaimSorted builds on top of - and the self-service tools to create accurate analytics.

You'll close the gaps before they become a headline - own access controls, PII protection, and compliance end-to-end, at a company handling real claims data for the world's largest insurers. This isn't theoretical security work; it's the real thing, with real stakes.

You'll standardize how we build and run infrastructure - bring consistency across the stack, build the observability to actually see what's happening, and drive measurable gains in reliability, latency, and cost as we scale.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You'll build the data infrastructure that lets teams answer their own questions - accurate, self-service analytics that mean claims and ops don't have to file an engineering ticket and wait days for something they could pull themselves.

We love working together in the office, so this is a full-time, office-based role in our London office. We're a tight-knit team that genuinely enjoys building this together, and we think you'll feel that from day one.

WHO YOU ARE

We care more about hunger and grit than years on a resume. You might come from a platform, security, or data infrastructure background - what matters is you've owned the unglamorous stuff that everything else depends on.

  • Deep in security - access controls, PII protection, and compliance aren't an afterthought for you, they're a discipline
  • Deep in infrastructure - you know reliability, observability, database performance, and data pipelines from real production experience, not just theory
  • A driver of standards, not just a follower of them - you set the bar and hold teams accountable for meeting it, even when that means an uncomfortable conversation
  • Comfortable owning ambiguity - this role doesn't come with a fixed roadmap; you're helping define what "good" looks like here
