The Apple Services Engineering (ASE) team builds and provides systems and infrastructure that fuel Apple's services (such as iCloud, TV+ and App Store). We are the foundation on which Apple's software developers build the products that our customers love. We are looking for a passionate and talented developer to help build the tools we need to continue our focus in providing our customers the highest quality Apple Services experience. Our services have to scale globally, stay highly available, and "just work." DESCRIPTION
We are hiring outstanding individuals to join the ASE Infrastructure Tools Engineering team, a cross-functional group supporting a cloud engineering organization with process and tooling. We need people who can combine hard and soft skills to solve large, challenging problems. We create tooling that lessens the friction for SREs and engineers trying to do their jobs of making Apple’s services highly reliable.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience building internal tools for SREs and developers working in production environments at massive scale
- Advanced experience with programming (Go, React), and building enterprise applications; strong front-end skills and a good sense of visual design a plus
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)
- Experience with technical product management
- Experience building and deploying applications on Kubernetes;
- Experience with React and its ecosystem

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong QA/Testing skillset
- Able to write clear and consumable documentation
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
