TECHNICAL SUPPORT / INFRASTRUCTURE ADMINISTRATOR

KEY POINTS

  • Up to £40,000 DOE
  • Birkenhead – 5 days a week onsite
  • Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, Hyper-V & Networking
  • Genuine mix of BAU support, infrastructure and project work

ABOUT THE CLIENT We’re working with an established professional services business where technology plays a huge part in how the organisation operates day-to-day. They’re looking for an experienced Technical Support / Infrastructure Administrator to join the team, taking ownership across both user support and the wider infrastructure estate.

THE TECHNICAL SUPPORT / INFRASTRUCTURE ADMINISTRATOR ROLE: This is a really varied position for someone who enjoys getting involved across the full IT estate. You’ll provide day-to-day technical support to users whilst also managing and maintaining the wider server, cloud and virtual infrastructure. There’s a strong BAU element, but you’ll also be involved in projects and improvements across the environment, so it’s a role that should keep you on your toes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
