Overview
We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Architect to lead the design, build, and migration of enterprise server environments.
This role requires strong hands-on experience with Dell PowerEdge servers, alongside expertise in infrastructure automation using Ansible, APIs, and Redfish.
You will be responsible for designing scalable server solutions, supporting infrastructure refresh programmes, and helping drive automation across the server estate.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect enterprise server infrastructure based on Dell PowerEdge technologies.
- Lead server deployment, migration, and refresh initiatives.
- Develop and implement infrastructure automation using Ansible.
- Utilise APIs and Redfish to automate server provisioning, configuration, and management.
- Define infrastructure standards, best practices, and architecture documentation.
- Work closely with engineering, operations, and project teams to deliver infrastructure solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex server and infrastructure-related issues.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, resilient, and aligned with business requirements.

Required Experience
- Proven experience as an Infrastructure Architect, Infrastructure Engineer, or similar role.
- Strong experience designing and building Dell PowerEdge server environments.
- Experience leading server migration and infrastructure transformation projects.
- Hands-on Ansible automation experience.
- Experience working with APIs for infrastructure management and orchestration.
- Strong knowledge of Redfish and server lifecycle management.
- Experienced working with GPU Clusters (Nvidia or AMD)
- Solid understanding of compute, storage, networking, and data centre infrastructure.
- Experience producing infrastructure designs, architecture documentation, and implementation plans.

Desirable Experience
- Dell OpenManage and iDRAC.
- VMware, Hyper-V, or other virtualisation platforms.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.
- Experience within large enterprise or data centre environments.
What We're Looking For
A practical Infrastructure Architect who is comfortable getting into the technical detail and has a proven track record of designing, building, automating, and migrating Dell PowerEdge server environments. You'll combine strong architecture skills with hands-on infrastructure expertise to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.
