Location: Hampshire – Basingstoke, 5 days a week office based

Working Pattern: On site, customer premises

Type: Contract, outside IR35

Clearance: UK Sole National with active DV Clearance

Company: Tektora, supporting a leading Defence and National Security IT provider

Tektora are supporting a leading Defence and National Security IT provider who are looking to speak with DV Cleared Infrastructure Architects for a contract opportunity working as part of a multi-skilled agile team spanning security, service and management.

This role would suit someone with extensive secure large-scale infrastructure design experience who is comfortable working directly with senior customer stakeholders and is looking to develop further across secure architecture and service transition.

The Role

You Will Be Involved In

  • Owning all aspects of the delivery of technical proposals, ensuring alignment to the client's vision
  • Reporting into the CTO Lead Architect for the customer
  • Working directly with customers to define and elaborate infrastructure requirements
  • Designing infrastructure solutions to be compliant with security standards
  • Deploying production implementations through to successful project completion and service transition
  • Managing third parties and requests for change, ensuring no impact on the overall architectural solution
  • Interacting across multiple internal areas and senior customer stakeholders to drive collaboration across the delivery lifecycle
  • Working as part of a multi-skilled agile team where cross training is expected and challenges are shared

Key Experience Required

  • UK Sole National with active DV Clearance
  • Client facing skills at a senior level, communicating ideas to senior executives
  • Extensive knowledge of the design and implementation of secure, highly resilient, large-scale infrastructures
  • Experience working directly with customers to define and elaborate infrastructure requirements
  • Experience deploying production implementations through to service transition
  • Experience designing infrastructure solutions compliant with security standards
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows systems administration in an enterprise environment, including GPO, Registry, Filesystem, PowerShell, WMI, Windows Update and Windows Installer

Desirable Experience

  • Experience in the development and delivery of software using Agile methodologies
  • Prior delivery within a Defence or National Security programme
  • Experience managing third parties and change control against an architectural baseline
  • Relevant architecture certification such as TOGAF
