Job Description

As an Infrastructure Automation Engineer, you will help us build the next generation of our network and infrastructure capabilities.

The Infrastructure Automation team designs reusable services, technical governance, and advanced orchestration. This function drives strategic initiatives like AI-driven automation to transform how infrastructure and network capabilities are managed.

This role sits at the intersection of traditional infrastructure engineering and software development. It involves using a diverse technology stack to create vendor-agnostic automation solutions that simplify complex systems.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid work from home policy.

Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
  • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and PostgreSQL for developing automated processes and APIs.
  • Knowledge of network and security technologies, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, and firewall configurations.
  • Familiarity with load balancing, caching, and cloud-based services.
  • Experience with automation and tooling platforms such as Ansible, Jenkins, and GIT.
  • Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with change and version control systems.

Additional Information

  • Designing and implementing network automation solutions to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
  • Developing and managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates to ensure consistent network configurations.
  • Collaborating with teams to identify automation opportunities and translate complex requirements into scalable processes.
  • Overseeing the lifecycle of automation projects from conception through to deployment and support.
  • Conducting pre-release and post-release testing to identify and mitigate potential issues.
  • Building and maintaining an automation framework that supports self-service capabilities for internal customers.
  • Documenting automation processes and maintain version control to ensure a reliable infrastructure.
  • Researching emerging technologies in network automation to propose initiatives that enhance our capabilities.
  • Supporting the technology stack used in our automation platforms through BAU and bug fix activities.
