London | Up to £65,000 + 10% Bonus | 4 Days Onsite
Tenth Revolution Group is recruiting on behalf of an established, growing organisation looking to strengthen its internal infrastructure team with an experienced Infrastructure Cloud Engineer.
You will take hands-on responsibility for the administration, support, security, and continuous improvement of the organisation’s Microsoft Azure environment. Reporting to the Modern Workplace Architect, you will work closely with the wider infrastructure, networking, security, and project teams.
This is a hands-on engineering position rather than an architecture or management role, offering genuine ownership of an Azure estate.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
- Owning and administering the Microsoft Azure infrastructure estate.
- Managing Azure Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Backup services, and associated IaaS resources.
- Supporting Azure networking and hybrid connectivity across offices, Azure, and third-party services.
- Monitoring platform performance, availability, and capacity.
- Completing patching, maintenance, and infrastructure lifecycle activities.
- Supporting backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
- Troubleshooting Azure infrastructure, networking, and connectivity issues.
- Supporting Azure security controls, governance standards, and vulnerability remediation.
- Working with Microsoft Defender and assisting with Cyber Essentials and ISO 27001 initiatives.
- Administering Microsoft Entra ID, including users, groups, Conditional Access, MFA, and RBAC.
- Supporting Microsoft 365 administration, licensing, provisioning, security, and governance.
- Providing second- and third-line support for cloud and infrastructure services.
- Acting as an escalation point for complex Azure and cloud-related incidents.
- Supporting cloud migrations, platform improvements, and wider Microsoft technology projects.
- Using PowerShell to automate tasks and improve operational processes.
- Maintaining clear technical documentation and operational procedures.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
